Tho pedigree of Benmore, tho sire of Benmore Dean, contains the best strains of Clydesdato blood procurable both in regard to sound useful horses and , successful show ring stock. Benmore had a most successful show career winning upwards of forty first and champion prizes, commencing as a yearling by taking first prize at the Royal Show, Melbourne. As a three-year-old at the Grand National and Wanacknabeal ho beat a field of aged stallions, all previa ious^champions.
