SHEARERS' AWARD.
PROBABLE. By Telegraph—Press Association. DUNEDIN, October 26. The secretary of the Canterbury Shearers' Union telegraphed to the . sfftrretary of the Otago Employers' iAssociation as follows:—"There will be trouble if Otago' will not accept .the Canterbury shearers' award. Gain'we confer. Urgent." To this Mr Scott replied :—' 'Result of ba'ltot of Otago sheep-owners is 'against Canterbury award. We are j Willing' to arrange a conference if you thiols, it desirable."
