SCULLING.
PRESENTATION TO E. BARRY.
Recieved October 26,' 9 a.m. t LONDON, October 25. Mr F. J. Pitman, ex-amateur sculling champion, presented E. Barry, who recently defeated George Towns for the championship of Englar.d, with the Sportsman Cup and a medal. The presentation took place in the Hammersmith Town Hall, there being a crowded and enthusiastic meeting, over which the Mayor of Hammersmith presided. Among those present was George Towns, who met with a cordial reception. Towns suggested that Barry should make a trip to Australasia in order to meet some of the local men before sculling for the championship of the world. *
