THE RIGHT TO WORK.

CABLE NEWS.

United Press Association—Bv Electric Telegraph Copyright,

THE UNEMPLOYED PBOBLEM. MR KEIR HARDIE'S CENSURE MOTION. Received October 26, 8.37 a.m. LONDON, October 25. Mr Keir Hardie's proposed motion of censure on the Government is due to the exclusion of the right to work theory from the motion to be tabled by the Government. The Government motion emphasises the national importance of the problem of unemployment, and approves of steps proposed to be taken to deal with the matter. Mr Keir Hardie's amendment puts on the Government the responsibility for the absence of proper machinery, even for the carrying out of existing powers, and the general unpreparedness of the country to meet the present crisis.
