KILLED BY A TREE.
By Telegraph—Press Association. WAwGANUI, October 24. A tree fell across a tent at Parapara on the Upper river last night, and killed John Scolly, the son of a well-known resident here. The other occupant of the tent, a man named Ryan, escaped with slight injuries.
