JAPAN AND THE KOREANS. a PEKIN, October 23. According to an official statement from Japan, published at Pekin, Japanese soldiers and gendarmerie, between July, 1907, and August,l9oß, killed 12,916 Korean insurgents, and 169 Japanese were killed.
