The pedigree of Benmore, the sire of Benuoke Dean, contains the best strains of Ciydesdate blood procurable both in regard to sound useful horses and successful show ring stock. Benmore had a most successful show career winning upwards of forty first and champion prizes, commencing as a yearling by taking first prize at the Royal Show, Melbourne. As a three-year-old at the Grand National and Wauacknabeal he beat a field of aged stallions, all previous champions.
