Messrs Dalgety and Co. report as follows:—We held our fortnightly pale at Eketahuna yesterday. We had a big yarding, but bidding was rather slack under the hammer. However, we made a good clearance before the day ended. The cattle sold well. We quote:—Wethers to 13s 6d, ewes and lambs to 17s, hoggets (ewes) 12s, mixed hoggets to lis, empty ewes 10s. Cattle—Mixed yearlings to 38s, 2-year steers £2 17s 6d, dairy cows £4 15s, springing heifers £3 16s, bulls to £5.
