ACTION AGAINST AUCKLAND TRAMWAY COMPANY.
BEFORE THE ARBITRATION COURT. By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND, Octbner 22. The Arbitration Court to-day was occupied with the proceedings against the Tramway Company instituted by the Labour Department alleging breaches of award arising out of matters connected with the recent strike of tramway employees, the first breach alleged being the dismissal of Conductor Herdson without notice and without giving him a reason for the dismissal.
