FOOTBALL.
Mr H. Wrigley, an ex-member of the Red Star Club? and who went Home last year with the New Zea land professional team, writes to a resident of Masterton stating that he had signed on with the Hucldersfield Club. He was paid £4OO down, and will receive £2 10s per week. Mr Wrigley states that Johnston (Otago) and Todd (Auckland) are playing with Wigan, Smith (Auckland) with Oldham, McGregor (Canterbury) with a Welsh team, and Lavery (Canterbury) with Leeds.
