AN EX-MASTERTONIAN KILLED. The deceased was a member of O'Hagan's telegraph construction party, which is engaged in line work at Takapau, and met his death through a telegraph pole falling upon him. Jackson was well-known in Masterton, having lived here for some years. His father, who has been engaged in line work at Mauricoville, left last evening for Woodville, en route to Takapau. Mr W. J. Jackson, a brother of deceased, also very well-known in Masterton, is a telegraphist stationed at Woodville.
