MR JOHN BURNS ATTACKED, A VIOLENT SOCIALIST. Received October 20, 7.45 a,m, LONDON, October 19. Mr Victor Grayson, Socialist M.P. for Colne Valley, who recently caused scenes in the House of Commons, and was ejected and suspended,, addressed a meeting of five thousand unemployed at St. Pancras, Northwest London. .. He said that Mr John Burns, President of the Local Government JBoard,. was acting flunkey to genteel, useless, sidle parasites. He advised the unemployed to steal rather than 3tarve, and called the Socialists to arms, forming one great army which would put the fear of God into the hearts of Parliament. PREMIER PROMISES A STATEMENT. Received October 20, 9.30 p.m. LONDON, October 20. The Hon. H. H. Asquith, Prime Minister, has prombed a full and definite statement in regard to the question of unemployed in the House of Commons on Wednesday. If the Labour Party considered the statement unsatisfactory he would give them a day for its discussion. "READ MY' SCHEME." A JEW EJECTED FROM THE HOUSE OF COMMONS. Received October 20, 11.45 p.m. LONDON, October 20. While the House of Commons were discussing the Childrens Bill, an old Whitechapel Jew from the Strangers' Gallery tossed a bundle of papers on to the floor of the House, exclaiming, "Read my scheme for dealing with the unemployed." He was ejected after being admonished.
