MASTERTON CLUB. LADIES' CHAMPIONSHIP. The semi-finals were played last Thursday. Mrs G. •C. Williams beat Miss J. Robieson by one up. This match was a very interesting one, and good scores were put up by both players-. Mrs H. Holmes beat Mrs H. Booth 6 up and 4 to play. The final between Mrs G. G. Williams and Mrs Holmes will be played off next Thursday. MEN'S REVERSE HANDICAP. The best scores were:—A. E. Booth, 93, 14—79; E. B. Waddington, 100, 18—82; G. G. Aitken, 95, 10—85. MIXED FOURSOME. A Mixed Foursome will ne played next Saturday, entries for which must reach the secretary by Thursday next, at 5 p.m. Players must enter in pairs. The Captain (Mr W. P. James) has kindly presented a tronhy for this event. Next Saturday will be the closing day.
