TARANAKI OIL.

By Telegraph —Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, October 19. Indications in connection with the N0.2 bore of the Taranaki Petroleum Company are exciting considerable interest locally and the bore is showing splendid results. To-day ten barrels of oil were collected from a natural flow, but the pressure of gas is still too strong to permit.a steady run of oil. There is absolutely not a vestige of water inside the casing. Thus the greatest obstacle to success has been overcome. The oil, which was up to the 900 feet level in the pipe on Saturday evening, is still rising. From present indications the oil should be flowing steadily to-mor-row.
