CABLE HEWS.

United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright,

THE UNEMPLOYED PKOBLEM. DISORDER IN HOUSE OF COMMONS. A MEMBER SUSPENDED. LONDON, October 16. In the House of Commucs, during discussion on the Licensing Bill today, Mr Victor Grayson, member for Colne Valley, who was yesterday removed from the House by the Ser-geant-at-Arms, created another scene. He insisted on speaking on the question of unemployment, and, refusine to obey the Speaker, was "named" and suspended. Mr Grayson left the chamber amid great disorder. Mr Arthur Henderson, chairman of the Parliamentary Labour Party, entirely dissociated the party from Mr Grayson's conduct, adding: "Mr Grr.yson is aware of the Labour Party's efforts to secure from the Government definite and immediate proposals dealing with the exceptional distress arising from unemployment. • "A HOUSE OF MURDERERS." Received October 18, 4.30 p.m. LONDON, October 17. When Mr A. Emmott (chairman) named Mr Grayson, the latter retorted "You may name me, but you cannot shame me." After the Speaker had been summoned, and Mr Grayson ordered to leave the House, the Member for Colne Valley continued his attempts to speak. He shouted, "I leave the House with pleasure, and feel that in leaving it I gain in dignity." He turned to quit the House, but retracing his steps said: "This House is a house of murderers." He then left his seat and disappeared. Mr Grayson's suspension will be v for the entire session, unless rescinded.
