OBITUARY.
FATHER IGNATIUS. LONDON, October 16. The death is announced of Father Ignatius. The Rev. Josepn Lyne, known as Father Ignatius, was born in 1837 in London, and entered the ministry, being ordained in 1860 to the curacy of St. Peter's, Plymouth. In 1562 he endeavoured to restore monasticism. He purchased land among the Black Mountains, and built Llanthony Abbey, establishing a monastery there. In the early part of 1893 his preaching at the University Church of St. Mary, in Oxfeid, caused much excitement. REV. KINROSS. Received October 19, 1.11 a.m. SYDNEY, October 18. The death is announced of Rev. Kinross, .< Professor of English at St. Andrew's Presbyterian College, and an ex-Moderator, aged 75.
