THE BRITISH ARMY.
STRENGTH OF TERRITORIALS. Received October 18, 4 30 p.m. LONDON, October 17. - Mr K. B. Haldane, speaking at Caterham, said that the Territorial Army now numbered 200,000, and that recruiting was steadily proceeding. "The Army," said Mr Haldane, "was never more effective than it is at the present time."
