KNOX YOUNG PEOPLE'S ASSOCIATION.

A SOCIAL EVENING

The winter session of Knox Church Young Peopls's Association was brought to a close last evening. There was a large number of young people present, the meeting taking the form of a social evening.

The Treasurer reported that the Association now had a credit balance of £7.

The musical portion of the programme was in the hands of a committee, to whom much praise is due for .the success attained. Songs were rendered by Misses Joy and F. McGregor, and Messrs J. Gray and R. Nixon, and Miss Hogg played a piar.oorte solo. A dialogue entitled "The Servant Girl Problem," by Misses Joy, Ross, Scott, Logan, McHattie, and McKenzie was well acted and was warmly applauded. A number of gramophone selection" were given by Mr Greenwood, and proved very enjoyable. During the evening a number of very interesting competitions were held, and prizes were awarded to the winners. A committee consisting of Misses G. Gordon, M. and J. McKenzie, and Messrs H. McHattie, R. Miller, and R. Milne, was appointed to form a tennis club in connection with the Association.
