LABOUR DAY IN WELLINGTON.
By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, October 14. The weather in Wellington for the Labour Day holiday was perfect. Large numbers of people attended the Labour sports at Miramar, which were carried out with success. The harbour excursions were well patronised, and every body seemed to be out of the city. Some oi the bowling clubs had their official opening of the season, and the greens were well attended. Altogether the holiday was very enjoyable.
