SUCCESS OF AUSTRALIANS.

At an athletic meeting promoted by the "Evening News," A. B. Postle, of Western Australia, won his heat in the 100 yds in 10 l-ssec, and was third in the final. Owing to an injury to one of his ankles he had to be removed from the track in an ambulance.
Todd, who accompanied Postle to England, won the Quarter-mile in 51 2-ssec.
