SWIMMING HOURS AT THE BATHS.
The officers of the Wairarapa Amateur Swimming Club are to be congratulated on having made provision for all parties in the schedule prepared by them and adopted at the conference yesterday. Arrangements for the teaching of swimming has b?en aUovyed for in a manner entirely satisfactory to tlnJ delegates from the schools —in fact general satisfaction is expressed at the manner in which fridtion has been avoided and the provision possible made to enable all swimmers or would-be swimmers to engage in the valuable and health-giv-ing sport, whether members of the different swimming bodies or not. The recommendations will be brought before the Borough Council at its next meeting, when it is anticipated that the recommendations will be adopted in toto.
