M'DQUGALL'S TO THE FOEE AGAIN. IT is now four years ago since Messrs ' McDougall Bros, first put on the market their now famous Arsenic Sulphur Paste Dip, and since then the volume of output lias been enormously increased. The following are a few of the reasons, culled from the numerous unsolicited testimonials coming to hand by every mail, why it is becoming the popular dip with New Zealand flockowners : 1. It is easily mixed with cold water of any quality. 2. It does not separate like powder, but remains in solution, reducing the quantity of sediment to a minimum. 3. It docs not rob the wool of its natural yoke, nor harden the staple, thus leaving it beautifully soft and lustrous. 4. It destroys the egg 3 as well as the parasite, and adheres to the fleece, thus rendering reinfection impossible before shearing. 5. It is a preventive of Maggot Fly, which unfortunately is becoming a menace to sheepfarmers throughout the Dominion. 6. It has been officially approved by tho British Board of Agriculture. 7. it is supplied at a guaranteed and uniform strength at a reasonable cost. At the Royal Agricultural Society's Show, held at Newcastle-on-Tyne, in July last, McDougall Bros.'' Dips came out on top, taking thirty-five lirst prizes and special [prizes attached for sheep dipped in McDougall's, thus proving tho superiority of this wellknown composition. The following let.'cr speaks for itself : liakowhai, Hawke's Hay, N.Z., August 20th, IMS.
Messrs McDougall Bros., Manchester. Dear Sirs, —I have used your Arsenic Sulphur I'asto Dip since its introduction to th« Colony, nearly four years ago. J am pleased to .say that it has given )no entire satisfaction, a,nd for keeping the sheep iVce from ticks, lice, and as a preventive against tlio ".Fly," it surpasses any dip used by ine previously. The water I use is full of limo, yet it nii;;e.s nice ), and, like .your old "NonPoisonous " fluid, leaves the wool beautifully soft and lustrous. You are at liberty to make whatever use of this letter you wish. My Hock (of 7,0U0 sheep) \h open to inspection by anyone desirous of doing so, the sheep again this season being beautifully free; from Yours faithfully, (Signed) HUGH MoDONALD. Their Representative, Mil E. 11AIJKISON, is now in this district, and all information c.in be had from him, or the NEW ZEALAND LOAN AND MERCANTILE CO. LANGLEY SHAW, HAMILTON. FOR WAIKA.TO LAND.?
