Results:— Mangapapa Hack Hurdles, 1J mile —Master Douglas 1, Ancycle 2, Rawhiti 3. Also started—Ruabon and Oakburne. Won easily by a length. Time. 2min slsec. Ngatarawa Hack Handicap, once round Lamsriorff 1, Iranui 2, Parable 3. Also started—Sandstream, Separator, Polynices, Sinnous, Highden, Merry Tiger, Thaler. Won by two lengths. Time, 1 min I 51sec. HAWKE'S BAY GUINEAS, 1 Mile. Mr W. J Douglas' ch c Kopu, by San Fran—Maude, 8.10 (C. Jenkins) 1 Aborigine, 8.12 2 Gold Lad, 8.5 3
Also started—St. Aidan 8.10, Nobel, Chanteuse and Remission 8.5. Jenkins' magnificent horsemanship landed Kopu a winner by a head. There was the sama distance between second and third. Time, lmin 41 2-ssec. Te Mahanga Hurdles, If mile— Aroha 1, Hatley 2, Reservoir 3. The only starters. Aroha was never troubled, winninor comfortably by two leng'hs. Time, 3tnin 22«ec.
