Results:— Mangapapa Hack Hurdles, 1J mile —Master Douglas 1, Ancycle 2, Rawhiti 3. Also started—Ruabon and Oakburne. Won easily by a length. Time. 2min slsec. Ngatarawa Hack Handicap, once round Lamsriorff 1, Iranui 2, Parable 3. Also started—Sandstream, Separator, Polynices, Sinnous, Highden, Merry Tiger, Thaler. Won by two lengths. Time, 1 min I 51sec. Also started—St. Aidan 8.10, Nobel, Chanteuse and Remission 8.5. Jenkins' magnificent horsemanship landed Kopu a winner by a head. There was the sama distance between second and third.
