TINUI.
From Our Own Correspondent. TINUI, October 5. The School Committee will hold a ball on the 9th instant, and as the funds are in aid of the sewing class, there should be a large attendance. The Rpv. J. H. Sykes has issued invitations to his friends to be present at a social to be held on October 7th, when he will show eighty limelight pictures of Yorkshire. Mr Sykes is a most interesting lecturer, and an enjoyable evening is anticipated. From docking reports that are coming to hand, the percentage of lambs is disappointing. Seventyfive to eighty-five per cent, is the average so far, but to compensate for the poor lambing, there has been practically no loss among ewes, and all stock are looking remarkably well.
