WEIRD SCENES.
TUBE RAILWAYS STOPPED. Received October 5, 9 a.m. LONDON, October 4. All the tube railways in London, except the Central, were stopped for several hours on Saturday afternoon owing to a breakdown at the Chelsea Station. There were weird scenes in the tunnels. , All the passengers alighted on the line 3 by means of ladders, and walked to the stations. There was no panic when they were assured that the live rail would not be dangerous until power was restored.
