The Farmers" Co-operative Auctioneering Company (Hamilton) report as follows: We held our annual horse fair at Cambridge last ■week, and have to report a successful sale. Starting on Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. with the unbroken horses the sale was continued up to Friday, finishing that afternoon at 4 p.m. Notwithstanding the boisterous state of the weather there was a large attendance each day. Prices for heavy draughts were about £lO lower, than our spring sale last year, due to the completion of the Main Trunk line together with the fall in the southern markets. The other classes of horses sold readily and previous spring prices were fully ; manitained, particularly in the light horses. Buyers were present from all parts of the Auckland province. Unbroken horEes:—-Heavy draughts, colts and fillies, 3 and 4-year-old, £34 10s to £42; medium, draught same age, £2O to £33 flight draughts 3 and 4years, £l2*'los to £l7; yearling draughts, £7 10s to £l2; 2-year-olda, £l2 io £l6 15s; 3 and 4-year light horses (useful sorts) £l4 to £l6;, ponies and cohs, £lO downwards. Broken heavy darughts, 3, 4, and 5-year-olds, £35 to £45; 3 mares making £4B, £SO, and £56: medium draughts, same age, £2B to £35; lighter draughts, £ls to £22; light spring cart and milk waggon horses £l2 to £J7 10s; aged heavy draughts, £ls to £25; ,best hacks, and light harness horses, £22 10s to £3l, one good buggy mare making £39; useful hacks and harness horses, £ls to £2O, with keen demand; cobs, 3 and 4-years-old, £lO to £l2 10s; ponies from £7 downwards. During the four days sale, 981 horses were offered and 655 sold.
