TEACHERS' SUPERANNUATION.
By TcJegxaph —Press Association. TIMARU, October 3. At a meeting of the Educational Institute to-day, the Public Service Superannuation Amendment Bill was discussed in its relation to teachers. It was decided to communicate with the Minister of Education with a view to obtaining the following amendments: —Definition of length of service to include pupil teachership and attendance at a training college; superannuation to be assessed at three gears' highest salary or ton years' previous to retirement, instead of three previous years as proposed, the (maximum annual allowance not to exceed £2OO.
