PROPERTY SALE.

Messrs Levin and Co., Ltd., insert a preliminary advertisement in today's issue of the sale by auction on November 2nd, of Mr G. E. Allen's property situated at Taratahi, and about four and a-half miles from Masterton. Mr Allen has decided to remove to anutlier district, and is offering the property, consisting of about 720 acres in five subdivisions, varying from 75 to 270 acres. Over 100 acres are in crop or ploughed ready for crop. Mr Allen is wellknown as a breeder of Romney sheep, and the quality and condition of his sheep is proof that the property is well adapted for sheep-raising, and the close proximity to Masterton and to the proposed new saleyards site makes it valuable for stockholding purposes. A portion has been used for winter grazing country and 160 head of cattle have been carried on 230 acres for lour months. This section has been subdivided into three, or, i*oughly, 75 acres each, so that an excellent opportunity is offered to dairy farmers to secure a good winter property for their cattle. Terms are exceptionally easy. Ten per cent, deposit at sale, 15 per cent, on possession being given, about middle of December, and balance may remain till May, 1911, at sfc per cent. Plans are being prepared and will be supplied on application to the auctioneers.
