Received October 2, 9.36 p.m. LONDON, October 2. The Right Hon. D. Lloyd-George, Chancellor of the Exchequer, speaking at Swansea, said that it was the duty of Liberals to make some State provision as a first charge on our vast resources for the aged, deserving, poor and unemployed, who had done their duty, but we v e unable to longer support their families. He argued that honest capital had no need to fear any of his proposals.
