Alt appears that William McClimont, a resident at Mount Somers, on answering a knock at his door last night was confronted by a tall man who ordered him to put up his hands, at the same time threatening him -<A-->WiCn*a revolver. McClimont im- \ 'mediately attempted to shut the •door, and the visitor fired, the ball grazing McClimont's ear. The miscreant then decamped. Investigations are proceeding.
