IT is now four years ago since Messrs McDougail Bros, first put op tho market their now famous? Arsenic Sulphur Paste Dip., and since then the volume of output has been enormously increased. The following are a few of the reason?, culled from the numerous unsolicited testimonials coming to hand by every , mail, why it is becoming the popular dip with New Zealand flockowners : 1. It is easily mixed with cold water of any quality 2. Id does not separate like powder, but remains in solution, reducing the quantity of sediment to a minimum. 3. It does not rob the wool of its natural yoke, nor harden the staple, thus Ipaving it beautifully soft and lustrous. 4. Jt destroys the eggs as wciS as the parasite, and adheres to the fieaee, thus rendering rainfection impossible before shearing;. 5. It is a preventive of Maggot Fly, which unfortunately is becoming a menace to sheepfarmers throughout the Dominion. \ 6. It has been officially approved by the British Board of Agriculture. 7. It is supplied at a guaranteed and uniform strength, at a reasonable cost. At the Royal Agricultural Society's Show, held at N ewcastle-on-Tyne, in July last, McDougall Bros.'t Dips came out on top, taking thirty-five first prizes and special prizes attached for sheep dipped in McDougall's, thus pioviug tho superiority of this wellknown composition. The following letrer speaks for itself: — ilakowhai, Hawke's Bay, N.Z, August 20tlx, 1903. Messrs McDougall Bros., Manchester. Dear Sirs, —1 have used your Arsenic Sulphur Paste Dip since its introduction to the Colony, nearly four years ago. I am pleased to say that it has given me entire satisfaction, and for keeping the sheep free from tick's, lice, and us a preventire against the "Ply," it surpasses any dip used by me previously. Tho water I use is full of iimo, yet it mixes uico'j, and, like your old "NonPoisonous" fluid, leaves tho wool beautifully soft and lustrous. You are at liberty to make whatever use of this . letter you wish. My 'flock (of 7,000* sheep) i? open to inspection by anyone desirous of doing so, ti.o sheep again this season being beautifully free from parasites. Yours faithfully, (Signed) HUGH Mo DONALD. 'I heir Kepre.sentative, MR E. lIARRIS ON, is now in this district, and all information can be had from him, or the local a^erifs, UEvl ZEALAND LOAN AND MERCANTILE CO.
