Messrs Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report on their sale of yesterday at • Pahiatua as follows:—Sheep entries 'were confined to a Jine jf hoggets ' and a line of dry ewes. Cattle came forward in excess of advertised numbers, and being mostly young steers of fair quality, sold above the vendors' expectations. Hoggets sold at 10s Bd, springing cows, £3 10s, stores in poor condition 26* to 30s, yearling steers 37s to 475. A couple of lines of bullocks were passed in unsold, prices being below owners' idea of value.
