INSTRUCTION IN WOOL. CLASSING.
Reporting on the wool-classing class at thd Temuka Technical School, the instructor (Mr H. F. Harte) stated that owing to an increase of pupils two classes, a senior and a junior class, had had to be formed. The work done, by the junior class was picking up, Bkirting and rolling fleeces, picking different sorts of wool and classing fleeces. They had also been taught about the composition and growth of wool fibre an.l the value of different wools for manufacturing purposes. The senior class undertook opening of fleeces and skirtinr, rolling and classing them. The senior class' had also been sorting pieces ready for manufacturing purposes.
