Mr M. O. Aronsten, of the Post Office Auction Mart, reports a keen demand for poultry at last Saturday's sale. Table poultry brought from 3s 6dto4s; good quality, 6s per pair; ducks, from 3s 6d to 4s; geese, from 5s to 6s per pair. Purebred fowls are also keenly enquired after. Vegetable brought Cauliflowers, 3a 6d to 4s per dozen; rhubard, 6s to 7s per dozen; potatoes, Up-to-dates, 12s per sack.
