OF INCREASING IMPORTANCE TO BRITISH MANUFACTURERS. Received September 27, 4 p.m. LONDON. September 26. The Committee of the Manufacturers* Association of Britain has warmly thanked Mr Morgan for the excellent results of his recent mission to Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. Mr Morgan described the Australian market as one of increasMip importance to Britain. He claimed that the reductions and increased preferences to Britain were' tha result of his representation to the Commonwealth Government!?, and would save British manufacturers £IOO,OOO per annum, besides strengthening their position in the market.
