CHOLERA IN RUSSIA.
SUPERSTITION OF THE PEOPLE EXPULSION OF DOCTORS. FEARFUL MORTALITY. ST. PETERSBURG, September 25. Owing to the superstition of the populace leading to the expulsion of the doctors, there is fearful cholera mortality in Krasnyi Yar, north-east of Astrakhan, on the Buzan, a branch of the Volga. Received September 27, 3.25 p.m. LONDON, September 26. The "Daily Mail's" correspondent at St. Petersburg declares that 300 corpses awaited interment at Preshawensky Cemetery yesterday. Many coffins were loosely constructed.
