A SHIPPING DISASTER.

A BARQUE WRECKED. SINKS WITH ALL HANDS. Received September 26, 8.5 p.m. LAUNCESTON, September 26. Reports from' Cape Portland state that a large unknown barque struck a reef on Foster's Island at 9 o'clock this morning. She sank with all hands. The colour of the vessel is black with a white line. Boats were lowered from thf-. barque, but apparently there was no time to do anything. Later reports state that a small piece of sail was visible for a time where the disaster occurred.
