BUSINESS PROGRESS.
By close attention to business, combined with first-class workmansnip, the business conducted by Mr A. J. Minifie, in Masterton, as a painter and decorator, has developed from a local to a provincial one. At the present time he ha 3 a very large staff of men engaged on various works throughout the district, and recently -ho secured the services of Mr G. Ward, the well-known signwriter, who is recognised as one of the most expbrt in the Dominion. During the past twelve months a branch business has been opened by Mr Minifie in Petone, but this does not in any way affect the Wairarapa business, which is still under the direct supervision of Mr Minifie. For the" past twenty years he has had charge of the painting and paperhanging department of Mr C. E. Daniell's business, and still maintains that position. Estimates are prepared free of cost, work undertaken in any part of the district, and satisfaction guaranteed throughout.
