FRAUDS ON CANADIAN GOVERNMENT. Received September 22, 10.20 p.m. OTTAWA, September 22. The Canadian Government have discovered an extensive system of fraud practised on Chinese immigrants, who obtained exemption from poll tax by means of fraudulent certificates aa merchants. The Government have been defrauded of £30,000.
