AN AP / .RALTY DESPATCH. . Received September 22, 10 a.m. MELBOURNE, September^. Regarding the Australian naval defence proposals, an Admiralty despatch has reached the Federal Prime Minister (Mr Deakin). It will probably be tabled to-day. The Imnerial authorities favour the acceptance of several of the proposas made by Mr Deakin, and agree to lend Australia two up-to-date cruisers for training purposes. If the Admiralty suggestions are accepted by the Government, the Naval Agreement will be considerably modified.
