A BOMBSHELL.

STANDARD OIL TRUST AND SENATORS. ACCUSATIONS AND EXPLANATIONS. Received September 21, 10.40 p.m. NEW YORK, September 21. Mr W. R. Hearst has cast a bombshell in the Republican and Democratic camps. He publicly read let f ers from Mr Aichbold, of the Standard Oil Trust to Senators Foraker and Sibley, indicating that they, while |in public office, had financial and | other relations with the Trust. Other documents similarly assail Senators Bailey and Easkell and other Democrats. The owners of the letters contend that the letters were stolen. Senator Foraker's explanation is that the moneys were legal fees for services not connected with the legislation. The disclosures have inflamed the public anew against Mr W. J. Bryan. The latter opened his Presidential campaign at New York, and assailed President Roosevelt's principle- of dyhastry founding, which hd declared was contrary to tree institutions. Mr W. R.' H°arst is the proprietor of several American newspapers. Last year he was defeated by Mr Hughes for the Governorship of New York State.
