ANOTHER DISASTER IN GERMANY. PARSEVAL SHIP COLLAPSES DURING A SQUALL. Received September 18, 8.25 a.m. BERLIN, Septembei 17. Major von Parseval's balloon met with an accident while travelling too swiftly during a trial. The framework of the machine collapsed in a squall, a portion ripping the gas-bag. Major von Parseval and three companions descended safely, alighting on the roof of a house.

WRIGHT BROTHERS' TRIALS. PARIS, September 17. Wilbur Wright, one of the Ohio aeronauts, made at Paris a flight lasting 39 minutes 18 seconds. A SERIOUS ACCIDENT. ORVILLE WRIGHT BREAKS A LEG. LIEUT. SALFRIDGE SUCCUMBS TO INJURIES. Received September 19, 12.35 a.m. LONDON, September 18. An accident happened to Orvilla Wright's aeroplane during a flight in America. The blade of the left propeller snapped at a height of 75 feet. The aeroplane gradually overturned, throwing Wright and Lieutenant Salfridge to the ground. The former fractured a leg and the latter succumbed to his injuries.
