SALVATION ARMY.
By Telegraph-—Press Association. I PALMERSTON N., September 16. * Lord Plunket to-night presided over a crowded meeting held in connection with the rescue branch of the Salvation Army. His Excellency spoke highly of the work done by the Army at Pakatoa Island, and expressed cordial sympathy with the efforts of the organisation. Lady Plunket and party were also present.
