CHARGES AGAINST GERMAN COLONISTS. NATIVES SOLD INTO SLAVERY. Received September 16, 11.27 a.m. VIENNA, September 15. At an Americanist congress, sitting in Vienna, Professor Iritsch charged German colonists in South Brazil with brutal treatment of Indians. Natives, he said, Had complained that Germans had sold them and their children into slavery. The congress declined to petition Brazil, regarding the matter as political.
