MORRIS TUBE ASSOCIATION.
ANNUAL SMOKE CONCERT. There were about sixty members and their friends present in the socui room of the Drill Hall last evening when the Morris Tube Association held its annual smoke concert, ac which Mr C. Perry presided. A very enjoyable evening was spent in the customary fashion—with speeches, toasts and aonas. Very cordial references were made to the way in which the Association officials had done /their work, especially the popular secretary, Mr Malcolm Mcintosh. Donors of prizes and other friends 01 the Association were also accorded warm speeches of thanks and appreciation. The toast list was as follows: "The Kmg," chairman; of Prizes," M Mcintosh -C. Taylor; "Masterton Morris Tube Association," C. Perry—H. Perry; "Masterton Volunteers," E. Perry—R. Hornblow, Levien, F. Hood; "Opaki RiHeClub," R. T. Williams—Jß. J. Kins, W. VVinslade; "The Secretary fo M.M.T.A.," M Mcintosh; "The Ladies," R. Smith—W. Redmond; "The Press," C. Perry—Press representative. Songs were given by the following:—Messrs Murray, R. Henry, T. Thompson, D. fcawcett, H. N. McEwen, H. w yatt, J. Stringer, E. Burrows, L. Mason. During the evening the Chairman presented the prizes won during the season to the following:—lst prize, A class (W. Gardiner's trophy), W. Bannister; Ist prize, B class (D. Lett's trophy), W.Redmond; 2nd prize, A class (R. J. Lyttle's trophy), G, Hood; 2nd prize, B class (H. Holmes' trophy), A. P. Johansen: 3rd prize, A class (C. E. Daniell's trophy), H. Perry; 3rd prize, B class, (A. C. fllajor's troph)y, R. Smith; 4th prize, A class (0. Pragnell's trophy), F. Hood; 4th prize, B class (J. Caselberg's trophy), E. Burrows; sth prize, A class (club trophy). A. Lewin; sth prize, B class "(Club trophy), J. Culloty; 6th prize, A class (Ciub tropl.y), R.'J. Williams; 6th prize, B class (Club trophy), R. Burridge; 7th prize, B class (Club trophy), H. Tomlin; Bth prize, B class), (Club Trophy), C. J. Taylor. Special prizes—President's trophy (Dr. P. R. The gathering terminated with the singing of "Auld Lang Syne."
