Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Wellington, have received the following cable message from their London House, under date of the 10th instant Frozen meat — The market for beef is weak and a further decline is expected. Since our last advices New Zealand prime ox hinds are Jd per lb lower; New Zealand prime ox fores id per lb higher. The marktt fur mutton is firm, but prices are unchanged. The lamb market is weak, but prices are not quotably changed. Tallow—Since our last advices prices are higher by Gd to Is per cwt. The advance is chiefly on good mutton tal low of medium to fair colour. Rabbitskins—Prices are likely to continue firm, but there is a possibility of a at next sales. Buyers are not at all eager, and appear to be inclined to act cautiously.
