A SERIOUS MATTER. ARMED AFGHANS TAKE POSSESSION OF ROAD. PERTH, September 12. A strike of camel-owners has assumed serious proportions in the Port Hedland-Marbie Bar route. Forty armed Afghans have taken possession of the road, and will not allow teams with foodstuffs or other materials to proceed inland. All available police have been sent to the scene.
