ELITE SKATING RINK.
A CARNIVAL NIGHT.
Last night the Elite Skating Rink was crowded with patrons, when a plain and fancy dress carnival was held. The hall had been beautifully decorated by the management of the rink, and the Master ton South Brass Band was in attendance during the evening. There were some exceedingly pretty and novel costumes worn, the grand "march," which took place at 8 o'clock, being an imposing sight. Mr F. Todd was secretary for the v function, and it was due to his assiduity and the assistance of Mr and Mrs Howell that the affair came to such a successful issue.
