SEVENOAKS MURDER.
A SUGGESTION. CLEARING THE HIGHWAYS AND BYWAYS. Received September 10, 9 a.m. LONDON, September 9. In connection with tha foul murder of Mrs Luard at Sevenoaka, the husband, Major-General Luard, in a letter to the newspapers, says that the public has been deeply stirred by the late awful crime, and asks "lias not the time arrived for clearing from u the roads, lanes, and woods many thousands of unemployed—many of them desperate from want — who may yield to temptation and commit the worst sins?"
