BUCKJUMPING.
The wild and unruly buckjumpers belonging to Mr Jones's combination, which are to give an exhibition in Mr Higgins' paddock in Hall Street, on Friday and Saturday evenings, should attract a large attendance. "Bobs," the star performer, is described as a veritable demon and is said to be absolutely unrideable. It is reported that one or two crack riders intend making a bid to-morrow night for the prize of £5, which Mr Jones offers to the rider who can retain hi* seat in a hunting saddle for one minute on "Bobs." Mr Jones who has conducled successful exhibitions in the Auckland, Waikato, and Taranaki districts, invites the worst outlaws for his own men to handle. The show is a thoroughly exciting one, including sensational horsemanship, bullock riding, and Bucking Barney, a donkey, upon whom small boys are invited to sit as long as they can.
